DeAngelis Custom Builders completed a complete renovation of our 5400 sq ft home.  The project was completed in a reasonable time period but longer than forecasted.  Project cost was also reasonable but significantly higher than their initial estimate.  Project financial management and oversight was excellent.  Lack of detail renovation design at construction start complicated the process.  Jay’s experience and relationships provided mostly excellent subcontractors that executed efficiently and with high quality.  Subcontractor coordination was generally good.  Overall, we are very pleased with our beautiful home.

The DeAngelis team completed two projects for us . . .  We are very pleased with both the end result and the working relationship with the DeAngelis team for many reasons!  First, their pre contract work, including bid development, and final contract was very meticulous and well thought through.  Second, the communication during both renovations was timely and I never felt like we were "in the dark" as the projects progressed.  They often sent us pictures of their progress, and answered the phone whenever I called with questions.  Third, the work itself was very well done with excellent craftsmanship and care in everything they did. The subcontractors they engage (cabinets, etc) all were also easy to work with. I knew from the beginning that we would enjoy the DeAngelis experience when I saw pictures of how well they covered and protected the floors and furniture in our home!  Any "punch list" items, and there weren't very many, were followed up quickly. . .I would definitely use DeAngelis for any future projects we have and can recommend them without reservation!
