Jay DeAngelis is founder and President of DeAngelis Custom Builders. He has over thirty years’ experience in custom building and home renovation. From a very early age, Jay started working in the construction industry in his hometown of Morgantown, West Virginia. As a young man, his father would bring him on site to assess the progress on various projects. This is when Jay developed his passion for home construction. Always a very driven individual, Jay worked wherever and whenever he could. During the summer before his senior year of high school, Jay joined the Army National Guard and after high school, attended West Virginia University, where he would study business.
Eventually, Jay would work for his father’s construction business in Morgantown, WV and then two years later, follow his family to Naples, Florida, where in 1987, he would create DeAngelis Custom Builders. Since then, over the past thirty years, Jay has built a reputation as a passionate builder dedicated in providing his clientele with an exceptional new home or renovation. In order to make it all happen, Jay is fortunate to work with some of the most elite construction artisans known in the business. Many of them have been working with him since DeAngelis Custom Builders inception and hold the same values and principles of high-quality and craftsmanship.
Jay believes in a hands-on approach to construction and is on site managing his projects daily. Jay’s strength lies in his ability to listen to the needs and wants of his clients and develop a detailed plan to deliver an exceptional product based on those needs and wants. He treats his client’s homes as if it were his very own and strives to exceed expectations. Over the past 30 years, many of his projects have been featured in Gulf Shore Life Magazine, Naples Florida Weekly, Naples Daily News and some of his projects have gone onto win the prestigious “Sand Dollar Award.”
Jay holds his General Contractor’s license in both residential and commercial construction and also is a licensed Realtor. The entire foundation of DeAngelis Custom Builders has been built on the principles of passion, integrity and gratitude. He is passionate on delivering the highest quality home in a timely manner for a fair price. He has integrity and is honest and fair in all work performed and everyone he comes in contact. Most of all, he is grateful for being able to have the opportunity to “exceed his client’s expectations.”

Over the past seven years, MaryAnn DeAngelis has played an integral role at the company managing a variety of areas ranging from marketing to client relations, and many more.
Her career expands over 25 years, with marketing experience in both real estate and fashion. MaryAnn holds a Bachelor’s of Liberal Art degree from DePaul University in Chicago where she focused her studies on both business and marketing. She is a licensed realtor with William Raveis on Seagate Drive in Naples, holds her “Series 2-15” Florida health, life and annuities license, a designated Certified New Home Specialist and Luxury Home Marketing Specialist.
MaryAnn is an active liaison to our clients, sub-contractors, vendors, as well as the entire real estate community. She handles all day-to-day operations in the office, and develops and coordinates all marketing efforts. In her spare time, MaryAnn enjoys cooking, exercising or reading a good book. She is a supporter, as well as a fundraising coordinator, for the Sunshine Kids Foundation, kids with cancer network in Naples.
