My wife and I have used, and depended on, Jay and his team for more than 10 years. They have expertly managed a variety of tasks from an entire renovation to smaller changes and repairs. Jay and his team are easy to work with and dependable. We recommend them strongly and without reservation.

Our family has been clients of DeAngelis Custom Homes for several years for our homes. Their attention to detail, personal touch, and outstanding communication skills are uncommonly good in today's marketplace. On top of that, they set realistic timelines and budgets, and proceed to adhere to them. DeAngelis Custom Builders completed a complete renovation of our 5400 sq ft home.  The project was completed in a reasonable time period but longer than forecasted.  Project cost was also reasonable but significantly higher than their initial estimate.  Project financial management and oversight was excellent.  Lack of detail renovation design at construction start complicated the process.  Jay’s experience and relationships provided mostly excellent subcontractors that executed efficiently and with high quality.  Subcontractor coordination was generally good.  Overall, we are very pleased with our beautiful home.  

We had an amazing experience with Jay and his team. Our project was completed before promised and the care and craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. Jay was there making sure that everything was being done to the highest standards and kept us posted on all the progress. I have shared his name with everyone who has asked us how our project went.

The DeAngelis team completed two projects for us . . .  We are very pleased with both the end result and the working relationship with the DeAngelis team for many reasons!  First, their pre contract work, including bid development, and final contract was very meticulous and well thought through.  Second, the communication during both renovations was timely and I never felt like we were "in the dark" as the projects progressed.  They often sent us pictures of their progress, and answered the phone whenever I called with questions.  Third, the work itself was very well done with excellent craftsmanship and care in everything they did. The subcontractors they engage (cabinets, etc) all were also easy to work with. I knew from the beginning that we would enjoy the DeAngelis experience when I saw pictures of how well they covered and protected the floors and furniture in our home!  Any "punch list" items, and there weren't very many, were followed up quickly. . .I would definitely use DeAngelis for any future projects we have and can recommend them without reservation!

It was a pleasure to work with Jay and Xavier.  Our job, the remodel came in under budget and ahead of schedule all completed when we were not in town.  And importantly, the follow up on those pesky little corrections that are always needed after a job is completed has been great.

Jay DeAngelis is truly a wonderful person, an excellent builder and is knowledgeable and flexible to work through all issues that come up while constructing a custom home in Naples. We highly recommend Jay, as he is a home builder that you can trust.
